For those that will find it hard to go to the physician or need basic help to stay in their home – home health care might be an option. A registered Licensed Practicing Nurse will come to the home daily, administer medicine (including Class 1), and help with the simple things they may need help with. For those in End of Life care, the nurse will likely be there longer term with 2 nurses for 12 hour shifts. A family member should be a part of their care though offering to do things that aren’t medically required.
