Sometimes an ambulance is not available to meet the patient in time. When that happens, an ECT (Emergency Care Team) will be dispatched to the patient to administer needed care. They will ride in KAA Model 2 automobiles which are hatchbacks. The ambulatory kit bag will be in the back seat, and an oxygen tank in the hatchback. The smaller automobile will also save on fuel – therefore reducing the demand to constantly refill all of the time. As with ambulances, there will be lights and sirens, but this vehicle is not intended to transport a patient, but to provide for stabilizing care until the ambulance arrives.
